We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Brand Innovation, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting the marketing team in brand-building initiatives, including marketing communications, trade marketing, market data analysis, and marketing research. 

 

 

Position Responsibilities

           

            Analytics

  • Perform analysis of syndicated (IRI) consumption data for all retail brands. Create and distribute monthly reports, and perform ad-hoc analyses as needed
  • Track and analyze performance of marketing campaigns (FSIs, Digital, SEO, Google Analytics, Google AdWords). Make recommendations to optimize marketing plans based on results

 

Integrated Marketing Communications

  • Responsible for the day to day support of the retail brands
  • Oversee retail social campaigns, including strategy and content for Facebook and Pinterest
  • Act as the day to day contact for third-party marketing agencies and suppliers
  • Generate barcodes for all promotions and coupon activities
  • Execute consumer sweepstakes (rules generation, winner notification, prize and POS fulfillment)
  • Support and execute all sampling efforts

 

Project Management

  • Tracks competition through store checks, purchasing samples, and coordinating competitive reviews
  • Management of retail budget, including processing of estimates, invoices, and monthly reconciliation
  • Liason between cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance
  • Coordinate other projects as assigned

 

Administration

  • Manage internal HMF marketing efforts bulletin boards, employee email updates, etc
  • Facilitate weekly sales and cross-functional team meetings

 

Position Requirements

 

  • Minimum of a BA/BS in a business-related field
  • 3+ years experience in a business-related field, with an interest in consumer marketing
  • Experience with and ability to work in Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Comfortable with financial budgeting/tracking
  • Strong presentation and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
